Want to Learn to Sail This Summer?
Come to Fifty Point Marina!


Fifty Point Yacht Club is offering a Youth Learn to Sail Program this summer in partnership with Ontario Sailing's BOOM program, www.ontariosailing.ca

Date: August 19 to 23, 2019
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Location: Fifty Point Conservation Area Marina, 1479 Baseline Road, Winona, www.hamiltonconservation.ca
Fee to be paid by May 1st: $395 by e-transfer to FPYC Treasurer, Karyn Maddeaux, at kmaddeaux@mfco.ca

  • Other general information:
  • The program is limited to 16 participants. The 16 spaces will be allocated to the first 16 registration forms with full fee payments received.
  • Ontario Sailing will supply 8 sailboats, 2 coach boats, 2 instructors and lifejackets (if required).
  • Participants may arrive at the marina any time after 8:30 am.
  • On Day 1, participants will meet at the Western Marina Services area. Link to site map here
  • . Parents/guardians are welcome to attend the Day 1 program introduction (9:00 am).
  • Parents/guardians may enter the conservation area to drop off and pick up participants at no charge. Should the parent or guardian wish to stay at the conservation area beyond the drop off/pick up time (or Day 1 introduction), the regular entry fee will apply.
  • Participants bring a nut-free lunch daily. A fridge is available at the Western Marina Services.
